Large bathhouse with an open-air bathing area filled with “Dokutsu-no-yu” (Hot spring of the cave)
The large bathhouses with an open-air bathing area (separate sections for men and women) are located right in front of the cave that gave it its name. With its mild and not excessively hot water, it gently warms the body from the core. It is also called “Tsuya-hada-no-yu”, which translates as hot water for glowing skin as it does just that.
The “Dokutsu-no-yu” (Hot spring of the cave) allows those who wish to enjoy a long soak to do so without becoming fatigued. Nestled in the lush greenery, enjoy both the hot spring and forest bathing.
The seasonal view of the forest can be appreciated from both the open-air and the indoor section of the bathhouse.

“Yaku-to” (Medicated hot spring)
is known as “Kamasaki for wounds”
The “Yaku-to” hot spring of Yunushi Ichijoh is drawn from a source that gushes out naturally in the area, as is the source of the Kamasaki Onsen, which opened in 1428. It is named “Yaku-to” which translates as medicated hot spring from the connotation that this water is as effective as medicine. It is the “famous hot spring of Ou” that has healed the wounds of countless people for nearly 600 years. It is called “Kamasaki for wounds” and is said to be effective for treating wounds, burns, post-surgery, gynecological conditions, rheumatism, and other conditions.
“Yaku-to” is an indoor bath with separate sections for men and women. The floating brownish mineral deposits from the hot spring, adhering to the tiles and staining them brown are a characteristic of the hot spring water. Until around the beginning of the Showa period, these brownish mineral deposits were sold at stores. Two suite rooms are available with an open-air bathing area (semi-open-air bathing area) with the same source of “Dokutsu-no-yu” (Hot spring of the cave) as used in the bathhouse.
Family Bath
A family bath is available.

Limited to 2 families per day.
It was designed for those who require a carer.
Guests will be provided with a dedicated key, which they may use as often as they like, 24 hours a day, for the duration of their stay.
Currently, priority is given to those who are pregnant.
